Description
This textile artwork was inspired by seeing poppies along the edge of a field near Wintringham in the Yorkshire Wolds. I used to walk along that field towards the woodland regularly, and enjoyed noticing the flowers that each season brought.
Wet felted with merino wool.
Professionally framed with art glass (a non-reflective glass) by The Whole Picture Company in Starbeck, Harrogate.
