My art is inspired by the places in the landscape where I go to find stillness and breathing space, in a world that often feels noisy and busy, with all its tasks, notifications and productivity. For me, those places are often in the mountains, by the sea, lakes, rivers and forests. Sometimes it’s big open views, sometimes it’s noticing the small things such as the hawthorn blossom or frost patterns. I hope that my art can also bring you some of that breathing space that I found in those landscapes.
